Toys Testing
Our Services
Within the scope of toy analyses, we provide testing services in accordance with TS EN 71-1, TS EN 71-2 and TS EN 71-3 standards. Our analyses, which are carried out to protect children's health and ensure the safety of toys, are detailed and in accordance with international standards. TS EN 71-1 (Mechanical and Physical Properties): Tests mechanical safety elements such as the durability of toys, whether sharp edges and small parts pose a danger. TS EN 71-2 (Flammability Tests): Evaluates the flammability properties of toys, flame spread speeds and toxic gas release risks. TS EN 71-3 (Chemical Analyses): Measures the release of heavy metals and harmful chemicals from toys and ensures that they are at safe levels for health. Chemical Analyses within the Scope of KKDİK: Determines the levels of harmful substances such as phthalates, azo dyes and allergenic chemicals in toys. Our TÜRKAK accredited laboratory offers comprehensive solutions for analysis to be performed on toys with its expert team and state-of-the-art devices. We provide reliable and legally compliant services to manufacturers, prioritizing child health.

Toy Analyses

As a TÜRKAK-accredited laboratory, we provide services in toy analysis in compliance with the TS EN 71-1, TS EN 71-2, and TS EN 71-3 standards. To safeguard children's health, toy analyses are conducted meticulously, adhering to the requirements of safety standards. All tests and analyses in our laboratory are performed with precision, ensuring compliance with these standards.

TS EN 71-1: Mechanical and Physical Properties

The TS EN 71-1 standard specifies the mechanical and physical safety requirements for toys. This includes evaluating whether toys contain small parts, the presence of sharp edges, risks posed by detachable components, and general durability. Additionally, spring mechanisms, foldable parts, and the age-appropriate dimensions of toys are thoroughly examined. Our TÜRKAK-accredited laboratory conducts all necessary tests under TS EN 71-1 with the highest accuracy.

TS EN 71-2: Flammability Tests

The TS EN 71-2 standard assesses the flammability and flame spread rate of toys to ensure fire safety. Toys made from flammable materials, such as costumes and plush items, are carefully examined under this standard. During testing, the emission of toxic gases upon burning is also evaluated. As part of toy analysis, our TÜRKAK-accredited laboratory applies the TS EN 71-2 standard comprehensively using state-of-the-art equipment.

TS EN 71-3: Chemical Analyses

The TS EN 71-3 standard ensures that chemical substances in toys remain within safe limits to protect children’s health. It involves measuring the levels of heavy metals (lead, cadmium, mercury, etc.) and harmful chemicals in toys. Special attention is given to analyzing chemicals released through saliva, sweat, and stomach acid. Our TÜRKAK-accredited laboratory meticulously performs chemical safety tests during toy analysis in accordance with TS EN 71-3.

Chemical Analyses Under KKDİK in Toys

Chemical analyses under the KKDİK (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals) regulation assess the impact of products on human health and the environment. These analyses include:

  • Measuring phthalate levels
  • Detecting azo dyes
  • Identifying allergenic and carcinogenic chemicals

All chemical analyses in toys are conducted in compliance with international standards and KKDİK regulation requirements. Each analysis ensures that chemical substance levels in toys comply with relevant legislative limits.

TÜRKAK-Accredited Laboratory Services

Our TÜRKAK-accredited laboratory offers comprehensive and detailed services in toy analysis. In addition to analyses compliant with TS EN 71-1, TS EN 71-2, and TS EN 71-3, we also conduct necessary chemical tests under the KKDİK regulation. These analyses ensure product reliability while guaranteeing manufacturers' compliance with regulations.

Equipped with a team of experts and modern instruments, we provide toy analysis services that meet the requirements of TS EN 71-1, TS EN 71-2, and TS EN 71-3 standards. Every detail concerning safety and health is carefully examined during toy analysis. By prioritizing child health, we deliver the most reliable results to manufacturers and consumers alike.
